The Bunny Hugging Terrorist

Never underestimate Joan, at first glance she could be any ordinary OAP, but this could not be further from the truth. A 90 year-old animal rights campaigner and author of 'The Bunny Hugging Terrorist' could never be so labelled. Joan has gone on hunger strike; chain herself to railings, occupied the Canadian embassy and at 86 embarked on a mission to confront the illegal fishing vessels with environmental enforcement group Sea Shepherd and is still out on protests to this day.

The book certainly covers many different aspects of the animal rights movement but it is essentially a personal tale that will connect with the reader regardless of political viewpoint. Joan's tale is one well worth telling and she tells it brilliantly well.

The book is an excellent read and it is well worth getting your hands on a copy even if you couldn't give 'a hoot' about animals.

The Bunny Hugging Terrorist is published by Selene Press ISBN 09-9543452-0-5
